I used to think Pittsburg was just as boring as every other Kansas small town. I had several friends that went to college there, and when I used to visit them, I would say, "This place is terrible!" That was until I got older, had kids, and my interests changed. Next time you are in town, you should do it on a football weekend. Frontenac, St. Mary's-Colgan, Pittsburg High, and Pitt State all go nuts for football. (pretty much the entire 4-county corner of SE Kansas area does) It reminds me of Texas high school football in alot of ways. You should also check out one of the iconic chicken restaurants. Chicken Annie's, Chicken Mary's, Bardo's, or Gerhardt's. Chicken Annie's has 3 different locations (same, but different atmospheres) Not far away, is a ginormous coal shovel called Big Brutus that has a museum dedicated to the area's coal-mining history. It sounds goofy, until you actually see it in person! Lots to see and do, if you're not just passing through in a hurry on the way to the Ozarks.

I really don't know who goes there.

A lot of these hotels use to be good . Quality inn, Wyndham, Americas best, etc. now they all are cheap, dirty and sketchy. It’s like they’re driving up the hotel room market 😂 now you gotta pay over $100 for a decent room in Memphis. Use to be I could get a great smoking room for 50-60

This is a terrible video. You stayed on the edge of the city limits. The only thing shown in Pittsburg was the University. The house fire wasn’t even in Pittsburg, it was in Frontenac Kansas.

Seen these fly over, one just th is week. Without looking up, it sounds like a C130. But as it's gets within visual range, it's clear that it's not. Guessing it was flying to ATC Mobile. Seen a few 60's fly over too. Before the eng swap in the 65's, always sounded like "AirWolf:. Have had the pleasure of riding in a 130 a few times and a 65 (while it was embarked on our ship), the 65 doesn't ride that well IMO.

Are you doing a commercial for the Holiday Inn? Nice hotel but I don’t see where this video has anything really to do with Pittsburg. It has a university and you seen a housefire. That’s pretty much all I got from this. I’m actually from Pittsburg and there’s a lot to say about Pittsburg rather than just it’s a small town. Pittsburg has a lot of festivals and they have an art walk. They have galleries downtown all different kinds of stuff and Colton is not even there anymore because that place was disgusting. There’s a lot better places to eat there but if you’re just gonna talk about the food you stuffed yourself with and the hotel you stayed inthen why even bother making a video?
